In a meeting held at the parliament house, theSenate Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat instructed the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) to take initiative for the rectification of issues regarding electricity like power outages and over-billing. In the meeting presided Senator Rana Maqbool Ahmad Nepra informed that the losses of authority have been reduced up to 21 percent.
