In a press conference, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed reported that 39 NADRA officials were arrested in Karachi for issuing fake identity cards. Moreover, he said that the same action will also be taken in other cities as well. He also mentioned that the government is planning to introduce a new system of verification, correction, and renewal of identity cards.
