In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the authorities issued an avalanche alert in different districts. “Avalanche with low danger level is likely to occur above 2500 metres over Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Ramban, Doda and Kargil in next 24 hours. People are advised to avoid visiting higher reaches,” the officials stated.
