Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited his mother, Heeraben Modi, who is in a hospital in Ahmedabad since last night. Having flown in from Delhi around 4 pm, he left the hospital just before 5.30, spending over an hour with his mother. A statement from the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre said the condition of Heeraben Modi, 99, was stable. The hospital has not shared any other information.
