Iran’s struggling currency sank to a new low against the U.S. dollar due to ongoing unrest and the country’s growing isolation in the face of Western criticism of its security crackdown and relations with Russia. According to the foreign currency website Bonbast.com, the dollar sold for as high as 370,200 Iranian rials on the unofficial market on Saturday, up from 367,300 rials on Friday.
