Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday decided to appoint General Asim Munir as new Army Chief and General Sahir Shamshad Mirza as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee. A summary in this regard has been forwarded to President Arif Alvi for approval.
