On Wednesday, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro told members of the Supreme Court that the country’s tightly contested election “is over”, after he was defeated by Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. He told reporters that he would respect Brazil’s constitution but won’t congratulate his left-wing rival.
