Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs, Babar Awan, in a letter to Speaker Asad Qaiser, sought the review of the council of Islamic ideology CII about the domestic violence bill 2021. In the letter, he cited different acts of the constitution of Pakistan. He mentioned that after particular amendments the bill has been sent back to the national assembly.
