The ruling for the PTI foreign funding issue to be resolved within 30 days was suspended by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday.

A single bench had ordered the Election Commission of Pakistan to complete the case within a month after the PTI submitted applications seeking Akbar S Babar’s removal from the case, dismissal of the case, and the secrecy of the PTI papers.

In response to PTI’s intra-court appeal contesting a single bench’s order, the IHC’s division bench, composed of IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Babar Sattar, issued today’s directive.
