Pakistan’s COVID-19 positivity rate fell below 5% for the first time in over a month, with only 2,465 new infections reported in the last 24 hours, according to statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday morning.

According to NCOC, after 49,553 diagnostic tests were completed across the country, 2,465 people were determined to be infected with coronavirus. As a result of the decrease in new cases, the country’s coronavirus positive rate has dropped to 4.97 percent.
