The COVID-19 infection rate in Pakistan has decreased somewhat, with the positivity rate remaining below 10% for the fourth consecutive day, at 9.67 percent, according to statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Saturday morning.

Since crossing 100,000 cases on January 30, the number of active cases has dropped significantly, to 91,620.

However, according to NCOC figures, 28 people died as a result of the virus, bringing the total death toll to 29,448.
