For the first time since September 15, 2021, Pakistan reported more than 3,000 coronavirus infections, according to statistics released by the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) on Thursday morning.

According to NCOC data, the country reported 3,019 new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of illnesses to 1.31 million. The infection rate was last above it on September 8, 2021, when the positivity ratio hit 6.12 percent, the highest in more than four months.
