According to Baaghi TV, Pakistan inked six agreements with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Wednesday to collect US$1.54 billion in financing.

The agreements were signed in the presence of Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan by the secretary of the Economic Affairs Division and the ADB’s country director.

The agreements offer US$300 million for energy sector reforms, US$385 million for infrastructure improvements in five cities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and Rs235 million for the construction of the 222-kilometer Shikarpur-Rajanpur Indus Highway.
