The Sindh High Court (SHC) heard a plea on Wednesday demanding compensation for the Nasla Tower case.

The case, submitted by MQM-P deputy convener and Sindh Assembly parliamentary party leader Kunwar Naveed Jamil, was heard by a two-judge bench consisting of Justice Faisal Kamal and Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput.

“The case is pending in the Supreme Court. How can the high court hear it?” Justice Kamal asked the petitioner’s lawyer.

The matter was adjourned until December 8, and the bench instructed the lawyer to provide his views on the petition’s maintainability at the next hearing.
