On Oct 31, Afghanistan’s new Taliban government urged international donors to restart full support for green projects in the country. The climate programs in Afghanistan that had already been approved for UN support should continue, said Suhail Shaheen. “Afghanistan has a fragile climate. There is a need for enormous work,” he wrote on Twitter.
