The Supreme Court on Monday ordered an end to all commercial activities on lands given to the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), expressing its concern with the construction of marriage halls on-premises allotted to the PCAA.
At the SC’s Karachi Registry, Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed issued the judgment while hearing a matter involving the allotment of CAA’s lands to others.
The Supreme Court ruled that CAA’s lands must only be used for airport purposes.
