Talks with Oman going ‘smoothly’: Iran FM spokesperson

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei has said negotiations with Oman are proceeding smoothly, but that there are those seeking to obstruct an arrangement. He did not mention any names. Baghaie was speaking in a broadcast on the official state IRIB channel. He added that an understanding with Oman was likely and that it would mark an important stage in the negotiations.
