We have more lines from our interview with military analyst Marina Miron about the killing of the Russian general. The analyst at the Defence Studies Department at King’s College London said Ukrainian security agencies would have an interest in killing Sarvarov due to his strategic role, for which there wouldn’t be an easy replacement. “Presumably, the Ukrainian Security Services, the FDU, would be capable of carrying out such an operation, and they would probably also be interested in eliminating high-profile military personnel in Russia, because the general was very important for operational training,” Miron told Al Jazeera.
