The UAE has summoned Israel’s deputy ambassador David Ahad Horsandy over the attack on Qatar and recent statements by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Co-operation, “conveyed the UAE’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the blatant and cowardly Israeli attack” on Qatar, state news agency Wam reported. “She stressed that this reckless attack constitutes a flagrant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, a serious assault on international law and the UN Charter, and an irresponsible escalation that threatens regional and international security and stability,” it added.
