Jordan says no Israeli warplanes flew through its airspace on their way to attack Qatar, denying what it called “false allegations” spreading online. Government spokesman Mohammad Al Momani said Jordan would not allow its territory to be used for “any moves that threaten the security of sisterly states” or destabilise the region. Mr Al Momani “clarified that the Israeli aircraft attacking sites in Qatar did not enter Jordanian airspace, describing the claims as false allegations intended to harm relations between countries and sow discord”, the Petra news agency reported.
