Qatar said it is waiting for Israel’s response to a new ceasefire proposal, a day after Hamas said it agreed to the plan. Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al Ansari told a press conference there was no timeframe for a response, but Israel was looking into the matter. “We hope for a quick and positive response,” he added.
