US President Donald Trump said “we’re long beyond ceasefire” with regard to the Israel-Iran conflict, although he left the door open for any nuclear talks with Tehran. “He said I was going back home to make a cease fire, not a ceasefire. He was responding to comments by French President Emmanuel Macron after the US leader cut short his stay at a G7 leaders’ summit in Canada.
