Trump’s Doha arrival met with Qatari welcome

Donald Trump’s arrival in Doha was met with an extensive Qatari reception as the US President was greeted by Sheikh Tamim, the Emir of Qatar. Mr Trump’s car, nicknamed The Beast – adorned with US and Qatari flags – was escorted with his motorcade to the Amiri Diwan as white and brown horses guarded either side. Lines of camels stood outside the palace. A video shared by The White House on X showed men performing traditional dances with swords to Qatari songs in celebration of his arrival.
