France has allowed the Israeli prime minister’s plane to pass through its airspace for the second time, despite a standing arrest warrant for the Israeli leader issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC), and France being legally obliged to abide by the court’s decision, according to an investigation by Al Jazeera’s fact-checking agency Sanad. The plane, called the “Wing of Zion”, carrying Netanyahu took off on its return journey after his visit to the US capital, according to navigation data from the aircraft tracking site Flightradar24.
