More than 1,500 tents of displaced people in Gaza have been flooded by rainwater amid bad weather over the past two days, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Wednesday. Civil defence teams have recorded hundreds of tents that were flooded by water to a level of 30cm, causing damage to the people’s belongings and mattresses. The agency said that the tents – some of them located in northern Gaza City, southern Khan Younis, as well as in central Deir Al Balah – were rendered unusable because of the flooding.
