Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebel group claimed a ‘successful’ strike on Israel’s Nevatim air base. The Houthis said a hypersonic ballistic missile “successfully hit its target”. Israel bombed several Houthi-controlled targets in Yemen on Thursday including Sanaa International Airport. The Houthis vowed retaliation and claimed to have attacked Israel’s Ben Gurion airport. However, Israel’s military only reported that a missile had been intercepted with no news of further strikes.
