Air France and its subsidiary Transavia France have extended the suspension of their flights to Beirut until Wednesday, August 14, because of continuing tension in the region. The carrier group’s flights to the Lebanese capital have been suspended since July 29 due to the “security situation in Lebanon,” Air France said at the time. German airline group Lufthansa also said it was extending the suspension of flights to Beirut, Amman, Tel Aviv, Tehran, and Erbil until August 21.
