Hezbollah said it launched missiles at Israeli fighter jets over southern Lebanon for a second day in a row on Thursday, forcing the aircraft to return to Israel. It was the third time the Iran-backed Lebanese group has attacked Israeli jets since cross-border violence broke out in October. Hezbollah said its air defense unit “launched anti-aircraft missiles on enemy warplanes inside the Lebanese airspace in the southern region”.
