Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu told relatives of hostages held in Gaza that conditions for a ceasefire deal are “coming together”, according to Israeli media reports. He arrived in Washington on Monday, later meeting 23 relatives of hostages. Hamas’s spirit “is starting to break”, he was quoted as telling the families, saying any hostage release deal will take place in stages. “We are determined to bring them all back. The conditions to bring them back are ripe, for the simple reason that we are putting very, very strong pressure on Hamas. We are seeing a certain change, and I think this change will grow,” he stated.
