At least eight schools were hit in the last 10 days in Gaza, including six run by UNRWA, Commissioner General of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees Philippe Lazzarini said on Wednesday. “The war robbed the girls and boys in Gaza of their childhood & education,” Mr Lazzarini said on X. “Schools must never be used for fighting or military purposes by any party to the conflict. Schools are not a target.”
