Two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike near the Rafah border crossing on Sunday, according to the official Wafa news agency. The crossing, shared with Egypt, was the only way out of Gaza before it was seized by Israeli forces in May. No other details were immediately available. Israel’s border crossing closures have also severely restricted the little aid entering the enclave, exacerbating widespread food shortages.
