Hezbollah launched more than 200 rockets towards five Israeli military sites on Thursday. The attack was in retaliation to the killing of one of its commanders in an Israeli strike the day before, the Lebanese militant group said. Around the same time, residents of Beirut reported that Israeli jets breached the sound barrier over the Lebanese capital.
