Medical teams at Gaza’s European Hospital began evacuating on Monday night following an Israeli order to leave Al Fokhari area, where the hospital is located, along with other eastern areas in the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The order suggests Khan Younis will be the latest target of Israel’s raids into parts of Gaza it had previously invaded in the war. Although the army did not specifically order the hospital to evacuate, its location in Al Fokhari area prompted concerns among staff.
