The Middle East is witnessing a “painful and unprecedented reality in light of the war in the Gaza Strip”, Jordan’s King Abdullah said on Thursday. Moreover, he called for the world to “shoulder its moral responsibilities to end a conflict that has been going on for seven decades”. He reiterated the rejection of “the displacement of Palestinians from their lands and the separation of Gaza from the West Bank.”
