US Central Command carried out a humanitarian aid drop in northern Gaza. More than 50,000 meals were included in the delivery. Four C-130 US Air Force aircraft were used in the operation, which involved US soldiers who specialized in the aerial delivery of aid. The aid drop was part of “ongoing US and partner-nation government efforts to alleviate human suffering” in the enclave, Centcom said.
