Foreign ministers from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and Qatar called for all border crossings between the Gaza Strip and Israel to open to allow aid to enter the enclave. In a meeting in Cairo to discuss the Gaza war, the ministers stressed the urgent need to achieve a comprehensive and immediate ceasefire, a joint statement said. They called for the removal of all barriers imposed by Israel that obstruct the flow of aid to more than two million Palestinians facing famine in Gaza.
