The death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza had risen to 28,663 after 87 people were killed in the previous 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry said. Another 68,395 people have been wounded since October 7, and thousands more are thought to be trapped under rubble and on roads across Gaza, where ambulances are prevented from reaching them. Displaced civilians trying to flee Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis have been shot and killed, the ministry said, while air strikes continue on family homes across the enclave.
