A soldier was killed and two others wounded on the Lebanese border, an official for the Israeli military said while confirming the casualties were caused by a “hostile aircraft”. The dead soldier was named Sgt Maj (reservist) Yehezkel Azaria, 53, from Petah Tikva. He “fell during an operational activity in the Margaliot area,” the military said.
