About 25,000 children in Gaza lost one or both parents as a result of Israel’s bombardment of the enclave, as per the initial figures reported by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor. The group’s report emphasized that Israeli bombs had killed more than 10,000 children since October 7 while about 640,000 children were left homeless after their homes were partially or destroyed. Moreover, Hundreds of thousands of children were also at risk of missing out on education, with more than 200 schools in Gaza damaged or destroyed, it added.
