Israel confirms its forces carried out attacks on southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh, Ansar areas

Earlier, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that seven people were killed and three wounded when Israeli warplanes struck a house on the outskirts of Ansar village towards Zrarieh village at dawn, destroying the building. The Israeli military now claimed its overnight attacks on the Nabatieh and Ansar areas of southern Lebanon were carried out in response to what it described as an action by Hezbollah against Israeli soldiers at the Ali al-Taher Ridge.
