Magnitude 5.5 earthquake hits Khuzdar, adjoining areas

An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted Khuzdar and its adjoining areas on Monday. According to the seismological center, the depth of the earthquake was 170 kilometers, while the epicenter was 160 kilometers in the northwest. People came out of their houses in fear by reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba. However, no loss of life or damage to property was reported from any part of Khuzdar so far.0
