Hundreds of protesters filled the main concourse of New York City’s Grand Central Terminal during the evening rush hour on Friday. They demanded a ceasefire as Israel intensified its bombardment of the Gaza Strip. Some wore black t-shirts with the slogan “Jews say ceasefire now” and “Not in our name”. At least 200 were detained by police, given court summons, and released.
