France’s President Emmanuel Macron met King Abdullah II in Amman on Wednesday, where the leaders began talks on the Israel-Gaza war. Macron expressed support for Israel’s operations against Hamas while demanding that it observe the rules of war. He is also set to hold talks with Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El Sisi in Cairo later on Wednesday, his office said.
