Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Saturday said that the lives of Palestinians were being treated as less important than those of Israelis, in the eyes of the world. “The message that the Arab world is hearing is loud and clear: the lives of Palestinians are less important than the lives of Israelis. Our lives are less important than the lives of others,” the king told the Cairo peace summit for Gaza. He added: “The application of international law is selective, and human rights have limitations. They stop at borders and depend on different ethnicities and different religions.”
