Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that the international community had to revitalize every effort to return to an Israeli-Palestinian peace process based on a two-state solution. “We must immediately return to 1967 border agreement,” Mr Fidan told the Cairo peace summit for Gaza. “Israel imprisons two million people in Gaza and calls it protection against terrorism. By dehumanizing Palestinian lives, Israel aims to normalize Palestinian suffering,” he added.
