It was reported that almost 30 people have died and thousands have been displaced after intense flooding in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Continuous heavy rainfalls that occurred for a week resulted in the flood. Transport and connectivity have been severely affected. Several villages have been cut off from highways, due to which the emergency aid has not reached the area.
