Qatar Airways has announced it will operate a series of special repatriation flights on 7 March, following temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirming a safe operating corridor. The flights will depart from Hamad international airport in Doha to the following destinations: London Heathrow (LHR), Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Madrid Barajas (MAD), Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and Frankfurt (FRA). According to the airline, priority on these services has been given “to stranded passengers with families, elderly passengers, and those with urgent medical and compassionate needs”.
