Renowned Pakistani Musician and Qawwali Singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s 24th death anniversary is being observed today. People fondly remember him as a man who gave life to Qawali. He was a singer of Qawali and considered one of the greatest singers ever recorded. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest at Cromwell Hospital, London, on August 16, 1997, at the age of 48.
