On December 17, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s grandson Junaid Safdar and granddaughter-in-law Ayesha Saif-ur-Rehman will host a valima ceremony in Lahore.
Junaid Safdar is the son of Maryam Nawaz, the PML-N vice-president, and Captain (r) Muhammad Safdar.
The ceremony will be attended by close friends and relatives. Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister of Pakistan, will attend the ceremony via video link.
Junaid Safdar and Ayesha Saif-ur-Rehman married in London in August of this year.
