On Saturday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy tweeted that he spoke with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Both leaders spoke about how “all perpetrators of war crimes must be identified and punished,” as well as “anti-Russian sanctions, defense, and financial support for Ukraine,” Zelenskyy tweeted. The German government spokesperson said, “The chancellor condemned the heinous war crimes committed by the Russian military in Bucha and other places in Ukraine.”
